Teacher Training

IMG_7686

Marcie is a child development consultant who recognizes that because teachers rarely receive critical training in child development, they often know their subject matter but not their subjects–the children in their classes. Adding short-term formal study of basic child development to good instincts and mastery of subject matter, is key to eliminating so many behavioral problems that get in the way of learning, and contribute to teacher burnout. Marcie conducts child development workshops for staffs of religious and secular schools, day care centers, and workplace child care centers, each workshop customized to meet the ongoing needs and acute challenges of any setting where children learn.
